A bit more about Psychosomatic Therapy

The Psychosomatic Therapy process is the practice of working with the mind, body and spirit to bring the body closer to balance, alignment and wellbeing. It’s a form of mind, body medicine.
The background of Psychosomatic Therapy can be traced back to various philosophies throughout time and brings together some of the following core principles:

What is Body Work?
Bodywork is the process of emotional trigger-release therapy and chakra balancing. A trigger point is a knot in a muscle that is constantly contracting. It can be caused by trauma, overuse of the muscle, or emotional stress.
Through a bodywork session, you will:

Release blockages and move oxygen and life-force energy through your body.

Create more self-awareness, focus your mind and shift into more empowered thinking

Move your body into alignment and balance your energy.

How Does it Help?
Every action, experience, and thought affects and modifies our whole body and how ‘prana’, or life force energy and oxygen, circulates in the body. When we are out of alignment, it can lead to blockages and illnesses.

What can you Expect during the Body Work Session?

What’s involved? ​
The whole session goes for about 3hrs. During our session, we will have a 1-hour consultation where I will ask you some questions about your current circumstances, symptoms, challenges, and concerns and we will also talk about your goals. Then you will have a 1.5-2hr body work session.

In addition to being a single mum, I am an Integrative Pharmacist and a Certified Psychosomatic Therapist. I also hold qualifications in Life Coaching, Leadership and Performance Coaching, Health and Wellness Coaching, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
By merging these skills and experiences, I assist women in achieving holistic health and well-being in a way that is most nurturing for them.
